The man rarely says “no” to an adventure — mostly because he’s already loading the trailer before you finish asking.

Though thoughtful and reserved, he’s deeply passionate about everything he does, especially his wife and family, who are always at the center of the ride.

As large in life as he is in stature, Kurt is pure Saskatchewan prairie toughness wrapped in a giant heart. His dedication to his family, friends, and business is unmatched — the kind of loyalty and commitment that people spend a lifetime trying to find in someone else.

Kurt has never been one to sit on the sidelines. He’s jumped off bridges, dived into seas around the world, raced the Baja, kayaked the Ruta De Maya, and chased adventure anywhere it could be found. Saying “no” has never really been part of his vocabulary, especially if the plan sounds slightly reckless and guaranteed to create a good story later.

But behind the fearless nature is a man whose character is even bigger than his reputation. What Kurt says is honest, what he does is genuine, and the care he shows for others is as enormous as the man himself. He’s the kind of friend who shows up when it matters, stands tall when things get hard, and never pretends to be anything other than exactly who he is. Born in British Columbia and raised somewhere between mountain air, mischief, and adventure, Ryan evolved from a humble BC bud into a full-grown, globe-trotting legend with a passport full of questionable decisions and unforgettable stories. Quietly fearless and endlessly reliable, Ryan is the kind of guy who doesn’t need to be the loudest person in the room — mostly because everyone already knows he’s probably planning something insane.

His true passion isn’t just adventure… it’s planning the next one before the current one is even over. Ryan has raced rickshaws through the chaos of India, run with the bulls in Pamplona, jumped out of planes over Dubai, and traveled the world chasing experiences most people only talk about over beers. His bucket list is so long at this point it probably needs its own checked baggage allowance.

 

But beneath the adrenaline and passport stamps is a steady, grounded soul. Ryan is a deeply dedicated husband to ManitobaMom, a loyal friend, and someone who values depth over numbers — quality friendships over crowds, real conversations over noise. Simple, dependable, thoughtful, and passionate, he’s the kind of person who always shows up and never needs recognition for it.

James is the kind of guy who can discuss business plans over breakfast, sail through rough seas by lunch, and somehow end the night laughing in a bar halfway across the world with people he met two hours earlier. A hard-core skier, outdoor sports business owner, sailor, cyclist, and adventure racer, James has skied towering mountains, biked across Europe, sailed the high seas, and managed to collect stories — and probably a few bruises — from nearly every country along the way.

Pragmatic and realistic by nature, James still has a dangerous habit of throwing all logic out the window when a good adventure, questionable idea, or calculated risk appears. He’s not scared to do much of anything, which occasionally lands him in situations most people would call “a serious problem.” Somehow, he always finds a way out — usually with a grin and a story that gets better every year.

A fiercely loyal friend and husband, James is the guy who’s all in, every time. Honest to a fault, dependable when it matters, and always the companion you want beside you when things go sideways.

A true Saskie prairie boy who moves through life like every day was made for sunshine, open skies, and just one more trail. Piper treats life like a long weekend with perfect weather — no hurry, no fuss, just forward motion and a grin. An avid runner, mountain biker, outdoorsman, and world traveler, he’s basically allergic to sitting still and seems most at home wherever there’s dirt, distance, or direction.

Over the years, Piper has seen more than most — he’s crashed planes, raced across India in a rickshaw, and even ran the Rockies from California to Canada, proving that “too far” has never really been part of his vocabulary.

He loves the outdoors in every form — the sun on his face, the moon over a lake, the sky stretching forever, quiet waters, tenting under stars, and a few beers shared by a campfire when the day is done right. Simple in thought, steady in nature, and passionate in everything he does, Piper brings a kind of grounded energy that makes every adventure better just by being part of it.

He loves his kids fiercely and lives every day like it’s meant to be fully used up, not saved for later. Whether he’s on a trail, around a fire, or already planning the next escape he “just found a deal on,” Piper shows up with heart, humour, and momentum.

Clint is a Saskatchewan prairie boy who somehow looked at a globe and took it as a personal challenge. Equal parts adventurer, instigator, and chaos coordinator, he has become the driving force behind the Stoic adventures — usually by saying, “What could go wrong?” moments before things become significantly more questionable.

To Clint, the world has no real boundaries, only poorly researched routes and flights that leave at 5:30 a.m. Friends, family, honesty, and integrity sit at the core of his philosophy. His wife and kids are his reason for everything — with adventure and moderate to extreme mayhem holding a very close second place.

He’s run four marathons, raced the Baja, tackled countless trail runs and adventure races, canoed the Ruta Maya, ran with the bulls in Pamplona, climbed mountains, sailed the Mediterranean, wandered deep into Siberia, crossed the deserts of Yemen, and survived the Tasmanian Sea with both stories and questionable decision-making fully intact.

Clint believes every idea is achievable, every adventure is possible, and everyone willing to join the ride deserves an invitation. His thirst for adventure is unquenchable, his optimism borderline reckless, and his ability to turn “a quick trip” into an international expedition remains unmatched.
